Who are we?

We are a multicultural and talented group of engineers, designers, health policy experts, business strategists, non-profit leaders living in the heart of Berlin. We want to drive social change and contribute to the global systemic transformation through collaboration, learning exchange and disruptive technologies. 


How will we achieve that?

Whether it be enabling a mother to go return to work and support her family, or empowering a charismatic young man to play football for the first time in 10 years, Amparo Clinic’s vision aims to prevent people slipping through the cracks of society - allowing them to live their lives to the fullest and prevent long term mental and physical health problems from occurring.

Lucas Paes de Melo -  CEO

Lucas Paes de Melo - CEO

Ania Park -  Admin & Accounting  With a Master’s Degree in American Studies from the University of Hamburg, Germany, in 2010 and a Diploma in American Studies from Smith College in Northampton (MA), USA, in 2007, Ania was headed for a career in liberal arts. But in her work as a freelancer for various projects and businesses, she discovered her love for numbers and business administration. So in 2016 she started attending a vocational business school while working full-time at a tax advisor’s office. After only 1.5 years - twice as fast as the regular training time - she graduated with top marks. Since then she has worked as in bookkeeping and operative accounting. Born and raised in Germany, having lived in the United States of America and in Italy, and having travelled extensively in Europe, she is fluent in German, English, Italian, and French.

Ania Park - Admin & Accounting

Wesley Teerlink -  Technical Lead  Wesley is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He is one of the founders and CTO of Amparo GmbH. He brings to the team a deep understanding of the Amparo products and highly energetic attitude towards solving any problem. He has an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. His emphasis has been in engineering design and product development. During recent years, Wesley has fostered a strong interest in designing and developing impact-driven products that can change people’s lives and the planet for the better. He turns to nature and his two children to get inspiration from whenever he needs innovative solutions. He speaks English, Spanish, and German.

Wesley Teerlink - Technical Lead

Wesley is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He is one of the founders and CTO of Amparo GmbH. He brings to the team a deep understanding of the Amparo products and highly energetic attitude towards solving any problem. He has an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. His emphasis has been in engineering design and product development. During recent years, Wesley has fostered a strong interest in designing and developing impact-driven products that can change people’s lives and the planet for the better. He turns to nature and his two children to get inspiration from whenever he needs innovative solutions. He speaks English, Spanish, and German.

Eva Lüke -  Design  After school Eva has left Germany to gain extensive international experience. The first year she spent in Argentina and Peru teaching English in public schools and hospitals. Ines Amri  — Strategic Partnerships Manager  Currently based in Berlin, Ines has lived most of her life in Tunisia with the exception of two years between New York City and Doha, with travels to all continents. An Award-winning social entrepreneur and Innovation consultant, Ines is offering more than 10 years of experience in international development, non-profit organizations, as well as  solid expertise in education and training design for young people. In-depth knowledge of the fundraising ecosystem, operations, public policy, strategy, program design, Sustainability, CSR, and personnel management. She demonstrated effectiveness in budgeting, project proposal writing, and external communication. Ines started her career as a public servant teaching English as a second language at Tunisian public schools. On the onset of the Revolution ten years ago, she founded her own NGO in Gabes, the South of Tunisia. Years later in 2015, she was headhunted to join the Maghreb Economic Forum (MEF), Think-do-Tank, as a Managing Director/Deputy SG. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic. Holder of an Executive MBA from ESMT Berlin (2019 class)

Now, with over 9 years in marketing, George bring professional experience from a very diverse set of business models, including: e-commerce, real estate, services, media agency and consultancy. Now, he uses his experience to help the world become a better place - making sure Amparo Clinic’s message meets the ears of as many people as possible. George is fluent in English and German, and not so bad at Spanish.
